Supply Chain Manager (mid-career)

Job description

As a Supply Chain Manager you are responsible for Procurement, Accounts Payable, Materials Management, Production Planning and Warehouse Management. You will manage a small group of professionals, each working in one of the supply chain areas. You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or equivalent and a couple of years working experience in a Supply Chain job. Next to your supply chain know how and your drive to understand technical supply chain challenges, you have managerial skills that you want to develop further. You have strong analytical skills, a natural tendency to improve continuously and have developed strong communication skills. You are being regarded as a team builder and project manager and are able to switch easily between operational, tactical and strategic levels of thinking and acting.

Main Responsibilities
• Management of the following Supply Chain areas: Procurement, Accounts Payable, Materials Management, Production Planning and Warehouse management
• Pro-actively solving Supply Chain issues
• Improving Supply Chain processes
• Facilitating new product introductions
• Close working relationship with Production and New Product Development
• Reporting to the COO

Profile of candidate
• Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent
• A couple of years (5) working experience in a Supply Chain job
• A couple of years (5) working experience in an industrial environment (medical device industry is preferred)
• Experience in working with MRP/ERP systems (MS Dynamics NAV know-how is preferred)
• Fluent in Dutch and English language, both orally as in writing
• Strong communication skills
• Team builder
• Strong analytical skills and data driven
• Pro-active -, problem solving-, and leading attitude
• Flexible and easily adjustable to changing circumstances
• Know-how regarding Lean Manufacturing
• Affinity with finance
